Brix

The Lovibond® Brix RHB series of refractometers was developed for working with sugar related liquids (fruit juices, soft drinks, wine) to help monitor and control sugar concentrations in foods and beverages. They provide critical information to ensure product quality and are commonly used for controlling the concentration of various industrial fluids, cutting lubricants and flux rinsing compounds. The kit includes a pipette for dropping test fluids onto the prism and a User’s Guide.

Glykol Refractometer

The Lovibond® Glycol Refractometer offers a convenient, fast and accurate way to assess the glycol concentration of engine coolants and other anti-freeze solutions. This easy-to-use optical instrument provides a no-mess, instant result that is impossible to achieve using traditional hydrometer based methods. Automatic temperature compensation provides immediate, accurate and direct readings without the need to measure temperature or apply a correction factor. The refractometer scale provides direct readings of freeze points and concentration of Ethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol.
